ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Kim Armstrong attended the University of North Texas on a soccer scholarship, and while competing at the collegiate level in sports, Kim discovered a passion for design and followed that passion with a Degree (BFA in Interior Design) and a career.

After graduating from UNT in 2001, Kim worked in Dallas as an Interior Designer for Ethan Allen.  A few years later she decided to take a leap of faith and open her own business in Interior Design.  It proved to be a great fit, and over the years Kim Armstrong Interior Design has proven to be a successful Interior Design business, with many happy and satisfied clients.

Kim has worked hard on furthering herself as a Dallas based interior Designer. In 2007 Kim passed the grueling NCIDQ exam and is currently a licensed Interior Designer in the state of Texas.  Kim has been a contributing writer for the locally published Dallas Home Improvement magazine. She is a member of ASID and volunteers through ASID as a mentor for designers emerging into the industry. She was a key factor in organizing a professional peer group.  Kim studies design on a regular basis and takes more than the required CEU classes to assure that she is competitive in the industry.
